Judging for New York Chapter in English and Spanish

We have an online Emmy® judging opportunity this month to judge the New York Chapter’s entries, in both Spanish and English categories.  When you submit your Emmy® Entry, you are agreeing to judge other chapters’ entries.  Without this reciprocity, there would be no Emmy® Awards.  Judges will receive one judging reward per panel judged, after ALL categories are complete.  Judging rewards are valued at $5- each, and can be used towards membership renewal, Emmy® Entry submissions, and Emmy® Event Tickets.  To be applied towards Early Bird Entries, judging must be completed and affidavits received by December 14th.

Qualified judges need a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field of television to participate. To become a judge, please email [email protected] with the name of the panel(s) that you’re qualified and willing to judge, and you’ll be sent a link to the judging web site, along with detailed instructions, and a login code. You will then create a judging profile and view the entries online in the comfort of your home or office. Silver Circle Celebration

This year’s Silver Circle was a success! Seven regional TV and media professionals were inducted into our Silver Circle, honoring individuals who began their careers in television at least 25 years ago either in a performing, creative, technical, or administrative role within the industry, or in an area related to television, such as TV journalism education, advertising, promotion, and public relations.

“We’re honored to celebrate the television accomplishments, both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, of these seven incredible journalists,” says Donn Johnson, President of NATAS-PSW.

Special thanks to our emcee Gene Cubbison and our venue, La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.
