Ashton graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Communications and Political Science, and ultimately fell in love with journalism when she interned at KCRA in Sacramento. After college she was hired at KSBY in San Luis Obispo as a producer, first on their morning show and then night-side, and quickly worked her way up to a management role as Executive Producer.
Kent Kay is a five-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, educator, and creative professional with more than three decades of experience in broadcasting and media production. He began his career in radio in 1992 before transitioning into television. Kent later served for 13 years as Creative Director at KESQ News Channel 3, where he led promotional campaigns, community outreach initiatives, and award-winning productions. Earlier in his television career, he held creative and production roles at WITI in Milwaukee, KHOU in Houston, KTNV in Las Vegas, and KTVN in Reno.
Luciano Peres is an Emmy Award-winning video editor and Chapter Governor of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), Pacific Southwest Chapter. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, he has more than 23 years of experience in broadcast television, digital media, and audiovisual production.
Currently working at FOX 5 Las Vegas, Luciano specializes in visual storytelling, broadcast journalism, and digital content production, combining editorial experience with a strong background in television production and education.
Luis “Pollo” Aceves is a dynamic television presenter, director, and producer with more than 30 years of experience in theater, television, and radio. He is an Emmy Award-winning talent, with two additional nominations, and currently serves as a judge and member of the Board of Governors for NATAS PSW.
