Call for Judges

Judges Needed for Online Categories and Super Panel

EmmyRdBase smallWe have an online Emmy® judging opportunity this month to judge the DC and Lower Great Lakes Chapter’s entries, and a one-day Superpanel opportunity to judge the DC Chapter’s entries.  When you submit your Emmy® Entry, you are agreeing to judge other chapters’ entries.  Without this reciprocity, there would be no Emmy® Awards.  Judges will receive one judging reward per panel judged (some panels may contain more than one category).  Judging rewards are valued at $5- each, and can be used towards membership renewal, Emmy® Entry submissions, and Emmy® Event Tickets.

SUPERPANEL:

Will be held in San Diego on Saturday, March 22nd, from 8 am to 4 pm.  This is an all-day judging session.  Up to 10 categories (including various Programming, PSA, Commercial Spots and Sports) will be judged.  Breakfast and lunch will be served, and Super Judging Rewards will be given to participants.  For the Superpanel, qualified judges should be actively involved in creative roles in professional broadcasting, cable casting or allied, relevant industries. Appropriate job titles include producers, directors, writers, technical operators and talent whose experience qualifies them to evaluate the work of their peers.  Judges need not be NATAS members, but must have aminimum of 5 years of experience in the field of television to participate.
